Being Literate and Having Access to Books.
I am thankful for these because I enjoy reading and writing immensely. I think of reading as way to escape the real world and be imaginative and writing is a way to express oneself through ways others can understand and enjoy too.
I am Thankful for Music.
Without music, the world would be completely different. Music helps define what a culture and a person are. To me music amazing, it helps me relax, if it is classical it can help me concentrate, music can brighten my mood, and much more. Without music, everything would be dull and lifeless.
Of Course, I am Thankful for My Family!
Without my family, I would be nothing. My mom is more than just my mother, she is my best friend and gives great advice and is a amazing woman; my dad is very helpful with my math home work and is great at cooking; my brother Tyler is goofy and can get a laugh out of anyone, and when he wants to, he can be nice. My family influenced my personality greatly and I am thankful for this. My family may be dysfunctional and odd, but for the most part, we get along well and are nice, caring people.
Today’s Technologies are something I am Thankful for.
I cannot imagine how people of the modern world “survive” without their cell phones, computers, iPods, and so on. These may only be objects but they come in handy for many uses including communication, entertainment, information, ECT. For example, I am typing this on my laptop while listening to my IPod. We seem to take technologies for granted and not appreciate how helpful and entertaining they can be.
I am Thankful for Being Able to Receive an Education.
With the education I have and will continue to receive, I can make a living and be independent unlike others who rarely catch a break in life without an education. I enjoy learning, and I think everyone deserves a proper education. I also like knowing I have earned what I have gotten and will get.
I am Thankful that I Have a Roof Over my Head.
I am fortunate to have a house, and I am privileged to live in such an exquisite and beautiful home. In today’s trying times many people are left homeless and I am grateful for not being a victim of a bad economy and many other factors. As my way of showing thanks, I respect my home and belongings. I also donate to the less fortunate.
I am Thankful for my Parents Having a Steady Income.
I am thankful for this because this satisfies our family’s needs and some of our wants. Together my parents provide an amazing life for my family and I am forever thankful to them for this. My family is privileged enough to get gifts on holidays and go shopping when wanted, and also my brother and I get an allowance which helps teach us to save out money and to not blow it on random objects.
I am Thankful for Living in a First Class County.
This is something to be thankful for because it means that our country is clean and has a thriving economy most of the time. In addition, it is part of the modern world, and it means we have indoor plumbing. Living in a first class country such as the U.S.A. means I have more opportunities in life to succeed and to have a better standard of living than in other countries.
I am Thankful for my Friends.
Without my friends, I do not know where I would be in life. They are great, interesting, bubbly people who encourage me to do my best, help me achieve my goals, and they cheer me up when I am down. Friends are an amazing gift that will always be there for you no matter what. My friends are the best anyone could ever ask for and for this, I am thankful.
I am Thankful for my Life.
It may seem like an obvious statement to make but I do love my life. Everyone can improve his or her life and I know I can too, but I am grateful for just being alive. Each day is like a gift to me and it is my responsibility to care for that gift and live it to the fullest.
